The thing that sets NOW apart for me is the accessible and friendly service. Whether live chat, phone or email, you get someone local and knowledgeable, and they respond fast. This is SO DIFFERENT to other ISP providers I've used. I really hope they branch out into mobile data, and I can say goodbye to the bad old days forever.

1. Customer service is useless
2. They expect you to have wired internet not wife for speeds
3. Modem supplied barely got 400mb at best but drops out daily to less than 5mb.
4. Senior or tech people do not call you back
5. They dont report there failures and so keep getting awards.

Been with them nearly a year. Speeds drop constant. Barely get 300mb on a 900mb plan. Spent 3 different times speaking with cust support and never got a return call.
Dont believe i signed up in the year they apparently have the best support to which i got non

Team didn't listen to any of the numerous times I told them we had a ONT already installed and went ahead to treat it like a new connection. Basically they wasted a week and even after several calls and emails they still got it wrong, the result was that I had to cancel my connection as they ended up being unable to provide the service.

So far so good, only relatively new to NOW after being mucked around by Stuff once too often....and it was often. NOW will support you regardless of router brand or even model. We did have some issues with the switch over, but that was on Chorus with their normal pathetic speed response times, and no fault of NOW. Staff are pleasant and helpful. With the 900/400 package, we get better traffic speeds than a similar subscription when with Stuff (almost 50% straight away).
I have had a couple of other big brand ISP's over the years, I am happy with how I get treated with tech support from NOW. At least they talk facts and not BS and make excuses. I also read a lot of negative reviews here about drop outs. I think those people would do well to remember that NOW have no control over the hardware network, that lands at Chorus and internally within your own home. Coming from a technical background, there is a vast variation of what people think is "good" wiring, particularly with patch leads etc, again quality (and price) matters. I also see a lot of complaints about the free router. EVERY ISP offers an entry level device, admittedly some better than others, if you want high end then do yourself a favour and purchase a high end router, they really are worth the money. Every one knows surely you get what you pay for?
And no I am not paid by NOW, just been around the traps for some time...

I have been with Freedom Internet for almost 6 months now. I have had issues but when I approached the team they certainly did the best they could to resolve the issues in a timely manner

I personally require constant streaming and it is a necessity, as mentioned earlier they are quick to resolve any issue I have had
Cons
Occasional lack of service, but that hasn't happened for some time
