Following slingshot taking over Stuff, I renegotiated my plan down from the $89.95 to $75/mth. The first mth was correct, then $93.95? @ mths later when I realised their mistake I emailed them to query. Got std reply next day that they intend to answer within 1 day. After 1 week I emailed again to check. After 9 days I rang, then the first lie "your call is important to us", followed shortly by the 2nd lie "an agent will be with you shortly". s 9 callers ahead of you in the queue". Their very obvious modus operandi is to hope that at least 50% of the callers give up in frustration. However they have a DD in place that enables them to take whatever they like from my bank - and no major banks (except Kiwi) will allow a person to cancel a DD. Rock and hard place.
