I have been with slingshot broadband for over 8 years and the Broadband has been consistently good.
I haven't had to use their support service, so I don't know how good it is.
Pros
The price is competitive
The monthly Data rollover is an awesome feature
Internet service is reliable
Speed is about right for the type of Broadband I have.
Cons
None that I know of

Long sob story about loyal customer mistreated.

Technically, my service has been plagued by semi-regular disconnects during peak hours and wildly inaccurate data metering.

I have also been told no VDSL despite being in range of the local exchange, and another flat in the block having it from a separate provider.
Pros
Cheap 12 months
Consistent speeds (though not the fastest)
Fast connection to new place (moved twice)
Cons
Frequent disconnects
Questionable data metering
Non-transparent data billing for overages
Horrible phone support
Customer Account portal didn't work half the time

It just works. Spoke to them once at start, not had a problem since.
Pros
Small company. Great to deal with. Short wait times. Excellent customer service. Good prices.
Cons
Speeds a bit lousy but not their fault - we live in the middle of the countryside so would be slow with anyone.

Ive been with 2 degrees a long time. trustworthy but the broadband providers communication has not been anywhere ner as speedy as the ph providers. Heaps bettr than vodaphone though. I needed a support group after them. Vodaphone was absolutely terrible at service and communication Sometimes I would wait >2 hours.
Pros
Good support when you finally get a real person on the line.
Cons
Seem to be loosing the personal touch with the bradband provider.

Economic but good overall performance.
Pros
Generally a bit cheaper than competitors. VDSL connection has been relatively stable with very few speed issues.
Cons
Online email support is terrible, very slow to respond. Have requested an upgrade to UFB for literally months now with responses saying "we'll get you connected ASAP" but it never eventuates. I am considering a change in ISP just to get better customer service but service doesnt seem to be a strong point for many ISP's unfortunately.

Also Bigpipe dont allow you to update your account details online, you need to email them and request changes, seems an odd and slow process. Oh well never mind.

ADSL is ludicrously expensive in NZ, and Spark isn't exactly the cheapest ISP.
Pros
Reasonably reliable connection and usually decent speed for ADSL.
Cons
Expensive, endless waiting queues in phone support.
