I donΓÇÖt know why anyone would go elsewhere. They answer the phone straight away. Their prices are low. They are friendly. They donΓÇÖt even have hold music because you never have to hold! IΓÇÖve been with this company since the beginning so IΓÇÖm a fan.
Pros
Cheap broadband. Always answers calls. Local. Friendly. Available via social media. Never have outages.

Worked ok till fibre was laid in street. We did not switch to fibre. Connection failed repeatedly. Two degrees solution was to send out a linesman. Did this three times but problem still not fixed.
Pros
If you have a mobile plan they will give extra data to compensate.
Cons
Poor connection, up to customer to report fault and follow up. Never ring back. Reporting a fault never takes less than 30 mins. Never had a refund despite not having consistent service.

While the plan I was in was good value for money when I signed up to it initially - it is currently unjustifiably expensive, especially considering the fact that I have an unresolved random issue of service disconnections

Fast fibre access when working

Had to chase down credit that was not applied properly to my account initially
Had to spend many hours with technical support to try and resolve multiple issues, 2 of them have not been resolved despite their technical experts' attempts, but I just gave up. ...read more

Tried to get a new connection for my new build property. Skinny refused to pay the chorus fees for establishing the connection because they are "a low-cost company that doesn't do that". These pricks wasted half a day of my time making me their middle man between themselves and chorus.
I don't leave reviews, but this experience was so terrible that I feel I should.

The best part is they've now sent me a return bag for their modem... The bag is too small hahahaha. They can't even get that right. ...read more

Absolutely nothing. Unless when you say an "internet connection" what you are actually after is nothing
Cons
everything from customer service to the actual ability to provide basic internet connection

I had them in my prior house it they where super to deal with during my time with them and when I needed to cancel .
It was an easy choice to use them again on the new house and good price for service they provide

Easy deal with, answer there calls!

don't have free services like light box offered as there customer

I'm not good with technology so broadband compare were a great help, hooked up with bigpipe on the same day, I'm on a budget so I found bigpipe best for me and still have unlimited WiFi :-)

I have left Inspire because I moved house - but the internet had been unreliable for months. Dropping out at random, sometimes better, sometimes worse. So I've gone for a new ISP
Pros
Price was okay, customer service amazingly better than Vodaphone who we left in despair.
Cons
internet unreliable, seemed to be getting worse

After years with these clowns I've finally managed to break all connections. I've been with them since they were Netaccess and each time the name changed and the owners changed they just get worse and worse. As a business customer spending a lot each year with them, I've had years of incorrect billing and overcharges. They account department _never_ responds to emails or fixes overcharges unless you compain directly to senior management. I've also moved all our customers off them as well to competitors. We used to spend over $50k a year with them and, as of last week, this is now $0. It's not surprising they've never made a profit. Not only are they the worst ISP I've ever dealt with, they are probably the worst IT company in NZ period. Even if their services were free it wouldn't be worth the hassle (but at least they might get the billing right). ...read more

None - they offer nothing that can't be found better elsewhere (phone or internet)
Cons
Poor and unresponsive support. Totally inept accounts department. Staff couldn't care less and take no ownership. Residential support takes _days_ to reply to tickets, if you use enterprise support they will randomly charge you $100 for jobs that take 2 minutes that residential support didn't respond to. ...read more

been with spark for a very long time, but was worried about changing ip so procrastinated, and have a much better deal to come without any problems hopefully
