I joined as they had a 6 month half prce offer. Got in touch on chat to check my modem would work ok and they said yes probably. Come connection day and nnothing worked. Including their chat bot. I tried for 3 hours to no avail to get help connecting to the internet. Finally went back to my previous supplier who took the connection back from Zeronet and had me connected in an hour.

Zeronet offers no customer support at all. They don't respond to messages for weeks on end. My internet wouldn't connect so I tried to contact them via email, Instagram, Facebook and live chat with no success for weeks. Finally after leaving comments on their Facebook page someone got in touch with me. I found that others were also having the same issue with no internet connection and having no response from their customer care team. We switched to NOW Broadband for our home internet nearly 18 months ago and are very happy with their service and support. There is always someone on the other end of the phone when you ring, and they work quickly to resolve any issues (which have been very few I'm happy to say). I like that they're a NZ company, and while small they definitely punch above their weight. 100% happy to recommend them.

After 3 months on a 12 months full speed fibre plan, speed tests indicate throttled speeds nearer the lower plan speeds. After countless hours waiting on the phone on hold, then speed testing with a test router, Now BB ran out of ideas and then charged me the costs of the 'test' router that was on loan! Had to get on the phone AGAIN to reverse that charge and organise pickup of their own equipment. Emails sent to Accounts go unanswered for almost a week, speeds are hit and miss, and whatever agreement you have with the Service agent at the time are forgotten and are billed anyway. Avoid the headache, avoid Now BB.

We have been with NOW for over 10 years. Have had no problems at all. Very helpful when it came to updating things and are always helpful with payment plans.

Been with them for a few years. Noticed connection issues for quite some time but was bareable. Until lately it got pretty bad and disconnects every a few minutes. Reached out, staff was not sensible and I have spend a lot of time online/over the phone with their support staff, tried all the touble shooting method and lastly got told it is likely the modem issue (as I told their staff when I first reached out as my modem was old and I didn't ask for a replacement when I renewed my contract last time). Since my modem is out of warrenty, I got told that I my only choice are either to by a new modem from them for some $120 or get one my self from the local shops. Was fine for the first few months, then it got a bit slower, then the first major outage of a day or more, once finally sorted(they seemed to have little clue, blaming it all on those they buy services from), continually slower & patchier after that(sometimes to the point that youtube would only play at 240p-360p), then just had another major outage for more than 24hours(again blaming others), this time with zero support for seemingly anyone. Support had been ok early on, but it still didn't help with the 1st outage. Both times I found ways to get the internet working before they fixed the cause, but still lost many hours of access both times. Not reliable, and now non-existent support. ...read more
