Quic Broadband

Quic is the telco who puts you in charge!

We don’t all need a support desk or ISP routers to get connected.
Quic is all about being a stripped-back service. Self-supported with diagnostic tools, BYO router, fast broadband – delivered with IPv4 & IPv6! Too easy.

The ISP you'd run yourself - offers all the knobs you'd want. Static IP, /56 IPv6, approachable staff, no dramas, fast speeds, reliable.

I’ve tried a few providers over the years, but this one actually caters to tech-savvy users. Native IPv6, proper routing, static IP options, no CGNAT — all the good stuff other ISPs are removing now and charging more for. Setup was fast, speeds are consistent, and latency is low — exactly what I was hoping for. Also the one off cost for a IPv4 static is great.

Quic is a NZ owned and operated ISP that punches well above its weight. It's aimed at a technical customer who is able to diagnose issues with their own equipment, and offers cheaper prices because of this.
The Quic staff are amazing. While not only providing a fast and stable service, they also provide the best communication I have seen from an ISP.
I highly recommend Quic if you are reasonably technical and can diagnose issues with your equipment.
Pros
Amazing Staff, Active Discord community, One-off static IP cost, Detailed diagnostic dashboard
Cons
Customers must be able to diagnose issues on their equipment

An ISP for geeks, by geeks. Getting a high speed to the closest speedtest server is only going skin deep. This lot don't just resell someone else's network, they've built their own. Since most customers want to deploy their own modem they don't bother sending out "free" ewaste. Their active online community of fellow customers have been an invaluable source of assistance in helping me configure my homelab. Based on customers photos I wouldn't be surprised if Quic tops the charts for percentage of customers running homelabs. I was live ...read more
