Worst customer service. Condescending and unreasonable. Took almost 3 months to get connected. Only became responsive once I lost my patience and took no accountability for the delay.

Pros

Only used for one month but seems fine if you just need a bottom of the barrel bare minimum connection

Customer service is terrible and unprofessional

Just had an internet cut out and went to the ISP website it doesn't open, and checked my bank find out last payment was charged under another company called telnet, and their web doesn't open neither. Comments on google review say telnet has ramdon cut outs, wonder if hit shot is sold to telnet and now there is problem? And the bank name only change last payment on 22/12/2022. Both companies phone are invalid or something but I will try tomorrow at work hour.

Good price and used for a year with no problem

Worried if they sold and now the Internet is shit or maybe gone forever?

For some reason, we often move to new address sometime even oversea. Thanks for
hotshot free moving feature and open-term plan, we can open, move, close our service soomthly. It is the simpiest and cheapest service provide i can find in New Zealand.

So far no major issues - setup and switchover from previous ISP were relatively painless although had to plug into a different RJ45 on my ONT (was not advised of that). D/L speed has been well short of max, averaging around 400 Mbps unless very late at night, but it is a step up from 300 Mbps of previous ISP. Still a reasonable value proposition.

Recently moved to a new unite. My last ISP take 2 weeks but fail to connect internet. Contact hotshot who promise to connect in 4 hours which comes true finally. Excellent customer service.
